It's been a while since we have posted an update!  Yes we are still re-opening, our new location will be in Union Square, Somerville at 429 Somerville Ave.  No open date yet, but it will certainly be before the end of January 2016, stay tuned for updates!

Disasterpiece Theatre's New Years Day of Wreckoning 2: Wreck the Halls 1.1.16

Come join the Disasterpiece Theatre crew on New Years Day for our annual VHS marathon of Z grade movies!  The fun will begin at about 4:30 at the new location of High Energy Vintage, 429 Somerville Ave (across from the Market Basket).  We will be screening multiple "films" and we invite all viewers to bring their own Z grade films for showing.  Please RSVP via Facebook or via email to let us know that you are coming.  Refreshments, foods and snacks will be available for free, donations are appreciated!

Old School Game Show's "Honky Tonkin, Boot Scooting Hootenany" 1.10.16

Old School Game show is Back at Oberon Theater on Sunday January 10'th.  Great times and amazing prizes (including some from HEV).  Get your tickets in advance before they sell out!

High Energy Is On The Move!

If you haven't heard the news...here is the news; High Energy is moving!  Our location at 1242 Broadway officially closes Thursday September 3rd.   We plan on re-opening in Union Square, Somerville during the month of October.
   Until we re-open you may visit us at the Somerville Flea in Davis Square on Sundays, and starting on September 19th, every Saturday at The Oliver Best Vintage Market in Allston.  You can also catch us with a setup of mostly vintage games at Bit Fest events, checkout the Indie Invasion on Sept 10th and 11th at Night Shift Brewery In Evertt

8.22 Starlab Fest 2015

In a culmination of everything awesome, we are pleased to announce that our friends over at Starlab Studios will be hosting  another edition of the their annual music and arts festival, Starlab Fest 2015!!!
   

   This year's festival will be held on Saturday August 22 from 12-9pm in Union Square, Somerville.  In addition to music, comedy, film, and other arts, Bit Fest will have a mini-arcade setup with classic arcade games... and Old School Game Show will be there to do a live performance as well!

  Tickets are $10- in advance, and are available at a variety of locations including High Energy Vintage and Starlab Studious.  You can also purchase tickets from Brown Paper Tickets.

HEV is coordinating the Starlab Fest flea market, if you interested in beeing a vendor, shoot us an email!

Super Crazy Important Annoucement:  We are closed July 4'th

After nearly 3 years in one location, we have built up allot of stuff! Stop by Sunday to get a peak at some of what we have been hoarding!

Obscure consoles, popular consoles, stuff that works, but in bad shape and more!  We will also have a few bins of free stuff too, for parts, or whatever?!

Where else can you get a Game Cube for $8- a Sega Genesis for $4, a light gun for $4, deals are just coming out of the woodwork!

Disasterpeice Theatre Presents: Cybernator 6.18

Disasterpiece Theatre is a continuing series of seriously bad films shown exclusively on VHS. We scrape the bottom of the barrel to bring you Z-grade, sub-cult material.

This Thursday 6.18  we present Cybernator a futuristic cyber-punk something something. Who cares really, the movie is going to be terrible and there will be beer and pizza.

3.13 High Energy After Hours VI

 Come out to River Gods Friday the 13'th for another awesome installment of After Hours.  This all vinyl night will have lots of punk, post-punk, new-wave and Italo-disco... and more all on vinyl, all night long!  There is absolutely no cover, we start at 9pm and go until 1am  RSVP on Facebook for more info .

3.15 Disasterpiec Theatre XVIII: Double Down Double Feature with Expect No Mercy and Circuit Breaker

Disasterpiece Theatre is back with more Z grade cinema Sunday 3.15 with our first double feature! If you have always wanted to see Tae Bo creator Billy Blanks kick some ass, then you will love/hate Expect No Mercy.  If poor acted cyborgs are your jam, then Circuit Breaker is for you.  Made by and starring nobody of any notoriety Circuit Breaker also goes by the title of Inhumanoid.  The event starts at 6pm at Starlab Studios in Somerville.  Expect beer and pizza, $5- donations are very much appreciated to help keep us showing really terrible films!
